Welcome to the Orange Bleu association!

The Orange Bleu association offers art classes through drawing, painting and sculpture workshops. The association’s teachers are from the contemporary art scene and teach in schools in the area.
The visual art classes are conducted by Louis Dollé.
These courses are open to all levels and all techniques, drawing, painting, sculpting. The courses are organized around theme sessions:

– Sketching: Fast poses (2 mn, 5, 10 then 20 minutes) awake the «Sketcher» to sharpen his eye and to understand movement, shadow and light, empty and full. « Sketching is a drawer’s scales ». For this class, you need a pencil and paper, but you can also work with ink or paint.

> Every Tuesday 19:00 to 21:00 and every Saturday 11:00 to 13:00 – weekly – 100€ / quarter

– Painting: observation class after still life, portrait, landscape – learning to look and observe through these fundamental subjects in art history. The course will cover the history of these techniques and practical exercises: how to represent character by observation, how to represent and compose a set of objects in space from pencil to paint. For this class, you need acrylic or oil paint and paper. The class is open to drawers as well.

> Every monday 19:00 to 21:00 – weekly – 130€ / quarter

– Clay modeling: Modeling techniques from A to Z – learning to observe a subject – copy, portrait or model – and to build its structure using clay. For this class, you need a few modeling tools or kitchen utensils (knife, pastry roller) and clay, which you can get from us. The class is open to drawers as well.

> Every wednesday 10:00 to 12:00 – weekly – 180€ / quarter

> Every thursday 18:00 to 20:00 – weekly – 170€ / quarter

– Sculpting: Techniques from A to Z, from clay to wood, through plaster and wax. For this class, we will provide sculpting tools.

> Every Saturday 15:00 to 17:00 – weekly – 170€ / quarter
All courses are open to members of the association.
Membership for 2010-2011 is 20 €.
Workshop registration is by quarter and takes place at the beginning of each quarter.
A single session fee is also available for members.
